After winter’s molotov cocktail, spring’s cover had big boots to fill. We went with a smashing theme – the broken window on the front is a nod to the suffragette’s campaign of window smashing (see page 3).
And the Hunter S. Thompson quote comes from a letter to illustrator Ralph Steadman, whose son had been caught smashing windows. It was written during Thatcher’s reign, but remains just as relevant today.
